Befrienders Penang is organizing a Forum entitled 'Preventing Suicide across the Lifespan'. This forum was organized in conjuction with the World Suicide Prevention Day which falls on 9 September 2007.
We invite the public, societies, communities, volunteers, those bereaved by suicide and interested groups and individuals to join with us to develop activities to enhance understanding about suicide and to demonstrate ways in which knowledge about suicide can be translated into effective suicide prevention programmes.
